In 2020, the biotechnology industry joined forces to successfully fight the corona pandemic. Contributions from German companies are bundled in the Corona special of the annual review of the industry and association work. The report also provides an initial overview of company financing in the pandemic year. Driven primarily by the two vaccine developers BioNtech and CureVac, the funds raised will reach a record high of over two billion euros in 2020.
Member companies of BIO Germany who would like the yearbook to be distributed to members of the state parliament or ministry officials in their federal state are welcome to contact the office. At the beginning of the year, BIO Deutschland would then dispatch the products, either digitally or by post, with a common sender.
