Digitization - Life Science Stammtisch in the BIO CITY Bistro on 22.03.

The aim of this meeting is to bring together regional players in the life sciences industry to discuss how digitization is changing the industry and how to get support. You will have the opportunity to network with colleagues and professionals from different companies and organizations. The invited speakers will present various funding programs with the help of which the hurdles of digitization, especially in the life sciences, should be overcome. New call for funding from February 16: Saxony continues validation of promising research results

Saxon validation funding is aimed at improving technology transfer between research and industry. From February 16, 2023, universities and non-university research institutions based in Saxony can again apply for a grant of 90 percent of the costs for projects to validate research results. Funding is available for projects with a project period of up to 18 months and eligible expenses/costs of up to EUR 250.000. Application deadline is April 13, 2023.

Top care for cancer patients in Saxony and Thuringia

The Cancer Center of Excellence Central Germany (Comprehensive Cancer Center Central Germany, CCCG) has started its work after the successful assessment by the German Cancer Aid. In the merger initiated in 2019, the oncological centers of the university hospitals in Leipzig and Jena have been working together, since January 1, 2023 as part of a top-level oncological center funded by the German Cancer Aid.
