tediro receives a significant six-figure research grant from the Thuringian development bank for the further development of the mobile robotics platform

Ilmenau/Leipzig, November 9, 2021 – The mobile robotics platform of tediro GmbH facilitates a large number of therapies and diagnoses, relieves the increasing documentation effort and supports patients and therapists in ensuring high treatment quality. The Thuringian development bank has also recognized the advantages of this innovation and supports the further development of the mobile robotic platform for therapy and diagnostics.

“With the grant we are financing our first version of the product and the development of our cloud-based therapy management system. This also covers patients doing exercises on stairs, as well as limited weight bearing when walking with crutches, which is to be introduced in a later product,” says Anke Mayfarth, co-founder and managing director of tediro continues to support research related to our mobile robot after we received a grant to a research consortium consisting of our partners TU Ilmenau, MetraLabs and Waldkliniken Eisenberg in 2016," adds co-founder and managing director Christian Sternitzke.

The tediro GmbH currently provides several Hire for this project, including robotics and cloud software engineers, product managers and the like.
