The deadline for submitting applications for the state prizes is March 7, 2021. The futureSAX start-up forums, the Saxon Transfer Roadshows and the futureSAX innovation forum will also take place to intensively promote exchange and networking in the Saxon innovation ecosystem and to make Saxony's innovative strength visible.
futureSAX, the innovation platform of the Free State of Saxony, is once again organizing three state awards in 2021 on behalf of the Saxon Ministry of Economic Affairs: the Saxon Founder Award, the Saxon Transfer Award and the Saxon Innovation Award. The prizes are endowed with a total of up to 110.000 euros. With their participation, the companies, founders and scientists not only gain recognition in the innovation landscape of Saxony, but also become part of the futureSAX network with over 8.500 actors from science and industry.
Marina Heimann, Managing Director of futureSAX: »Positive examples as a signal for innovative entrepreneurship and technological solutions as an answer to the challenges of the future - that is what lies behind the participants in the competitions and their ideas, projects and innovations. Especially in the current time of crisis, we want to give people and institutions a stage and encourage them to push their own ideas forward with courage and confidence.«
Especially in the current crisis, it is particularly important to give the Saxon start-up scene, transfer actors and innovators courage and confidence so that they can continue to realize their ideas and visions.
Martin Dulig, Saxon Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport, emphasizes: »The corona pandemic poses existential questions for numerous companies and start-ups. It is now more important than ever to continue writing the success story of the innovative state of Saxony with innovative start-up concepts, successful innovations in established companies and also exemplary transfer projects. Saxony can show that it is one of the innovation drivers in Europe, especially in these difficult times!«
The application deadline for all three prizes is March 7, 2021.
