Prize of the Biotechnology Future Forum 2021

The Biotechnology Future Forum is once again awarding a prize to an outstanding interdisciplinary research contribution to biotechnology.
The student's thesis (diploma or master's thesis) should not have been completed more than 12 months before the end of the submission period. The award comes with a monetary amount of EUR 1500, which is topped up to EUR 3000 by Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH, Goettingen. In addition to the prize money, the prize also includes free entry to a DECHEMA biotechnology conference of your choice. The prize will be presented at the 2021 spring meeting of the Biotechnology Association.

Applications can be submitted by academic supervisors or as self-nominations online by November 27.11.2020th, XNUMX at http://www.dechema.de/zfpreis to be submitted.

They must include a brief description of the scientific work (maximum one A4 page), a short CV and the thesis. The members of the Biotechnology Future Forum decide on the award.

Saxony supplements technology funding with an important building block for the validation of research results

With the publication of a call for funding on October 29, 2020, the Free State of Saxony will start the new program "Funding for the Validation of Research Results" (RL Validation Funding). It aims to improve technology transfer and adds an important component to Saxony's technology funding.

Fraunhofer IZI: "Day of Immune Research 2020" by Fraunhofer CIMD
